In Võru there are mostly small enterprises. The biggest enterprises considering the number of people working there are Wermo (380) and Võru Consumers’ Society (273).

There are three main industrial areas: Pikk Street, Räpina Road and Antsla Road. Commerce and service enterprises have concentrated mainly in the centre of the town. There are 24 catering and 6 accommodation enterprises.
